My Forth interview




(1) Interview preparations:

Lele is a student from China. She has been here for almost three years and her major is accounting. She lives with an American family living where my friend also lives.


(2) Interview report:

 The interview went great She was helpful and kind. I asked her all the questions in my mind. However, she was open for any questions and clear. The interview was fun and great also, my friend Ali has helped a lot to met with Lele

A: How long have you been in the United States?
L: I have been here for almost three years
A: Did you enjoy here?
L: yes, in America you could learn many different cultures and that what make America different to me.
A: Did you meet with people from other country?
L: Yes, a lot of people from Somalia and Middle East
A: great, what did you learn from them?
L: I saw the different between people who the food is different, clothes, and religion
A: Ok, back to Saint Cloud, Do you like the weather in St. Cloud?
L: In fact, I did not like it at all. It took a long time until I could get used to it
A: What influenced you to come to the United States- especially St. Cloud State?
L: I did not choose the government choose it for me
A: Ok, here in Saint Cloud what do you do in your free time?
L: I like reading a lot in the weekend, library is best place for me   reading too much. Sometimes, I like to go to the movie theater
A: That’s great. Can you tell me about life in China?
L: China is a large country and we have lots of famous foods, I missed the food a lot in China
A: What kind of food do you like?
L: I love all seafood Fish and shrimp
A: How do you communicate with each other in China?
L: We speak Chinese language and some of us speak English
A: Are men and women treated differently?
L: Men are given higher regard than women however; women in China, their personalities are stronger than men
A: What is your clothing style? It is different for men and women?
L: There is no such different between here and China, but we have traditional clothes
A: What are the major religions in your country?
L: A lot of people are Buddhism but there are Christians, Muslims, and Hindus as will
A: How has your experience in the United States helped you interpret and respect cultural differences?
L: High school in China has been very difficult, especially in mathematics; Mathematics in America is easy compared to China
A: Do you enjoy speaking with other exchange students?
L: As I told you I have learned a lot from international students
A: Do you have any questions for me? I have asked you a lot of them.

(3)Interview


 

(1)Interview preparations:

 I went to starbucks in the morning. Someone look like Chinese guy. I asked him to do the interview. His name is MOHL. Student at SCSU his major is accounting. He has been in the United States two years. I gave him one copy of the questions and we start the interview.

 

2) Interview report:

The interview went great and I learned a lot from him. China has different culture because many different people live there. I enjoyed talking with him and  the Interview was clear

A: What is your name and where are you from?

B: My name is MOHL and I am from china

B: My major is accounting

A: great, do you like it?

B: there is a big company in china and I want to be accounting there.

A: so, does this company give a financial guarantee to study there?

B: No, the governments pay for my tuition

A: Ok, why you came to Saint Cloud?

B: Well, I did not choose to study there but, my government did

A: How long have you been in the United States?

B: I have been here about 2 years

A: Do you enjoy speaking with other exchange students?

B: Yes, I love that. I could see the difference between cultures and know more about countries

A: How do you communicate with each other in your home country?

B: I could use phone or meet with them in a coffee. We speak Chinese and we have a lot of local dialects

A: What is the clothing style for men and women?

B: There is no such different between here and China, but we have traditional clothes

A: How are women and men treated differently?

B:  Exactly the same. Man could do more jobs

A: How has your experience here helped you interpret and respect cultural differences?

B: studying in china is very difficult but here it became easier for me

A: How often do you communicate with your family back at home?

B: Each two days I use Skype to call them

A: Do you get culture shock when you first come here?

B: No because we are in a small town and people there are friendly

A: Have you been able to visit any other parts of the United States?

B: I went to New York in the New Year's. It was fun  

A: What are your home country’s major religions?

B: We have all religion in China because it is large county 

A: after you graduate, what are you going to do?

B: I want to go back to China and work there

B: no, I was happy to answer your question

Studying in the United States and Saudi Arabia

 

1.      Introduction:


·         Thesis: Studying in the United States and Saudi Arabia has some similarities and some difference like job opportunities, the education system and cost of education

 

2.      Studying in United States and Saudi Arabia has some Differences.


·         After completing education people are unable to find employment in Saudi Arabia however there are more job opportunities in United States.

·         Studying in United States is much harder than in Saudi Arabia.

·         Cost of Education is higher in United States than in Saudi Arabia.

 

3.      Studying in United States and Saudi Arabia also has some similarities.

·         Salaries for Jobs are almost the same.

·         English is the medium of instruction in universities of both the countries.

·         Universities of both countries are constructing green buildings to help the environment and increase their reputation.

·         International students have to pay higher tuition fee in universities of both the countries.

My second interview


(1) When, where, and how did I Conduct the Interview?

In Monday I went to Atwood do drink coffee and I fond a person look like Chinese. I asked him please Are you from China? He was very surprised. He said yes, what can  I help you. I told him that I have to do interview with someone from China. He said ok that fine but, how do you know am from china that was smart guess.

(2) Describe the Interview


I think that interview was great I learned a lot from my mistakes in the first interview.My Chinese friend has helped me to learn culture in China Food, clothing, and religions.



(3) Country Report



 China - the People's Republic of Chinese, is a country in Eastern Asia. China is related to the ancient civilizations, which has incorporated a large number of countries and cultures during 4 thousand years. It is the largest country by its population, which is more than 1,35 milliard people. Most of the population is represented by the ethnic Chinese. It is related to one of the largest countries and takes the third place in the world after Russia and Canada. It is about 9,596 millions sq km.



The country is a great power state and the member of the UN Security Council. China is among the leading countries in the world, possessing the largest army and nuclear weapon. It is the global leader by the production of most of the types of industrial products including production of cars. The country is the world's greatest exporter and has a half of global currency reserves and is a potential superpower. (Liao, 2011). The national official currency of China is Renminbi.



The state was based on October 1, 1949. The capital of the country is Beijing. The largest cities are Chongqing, Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Guangzhou. Since 1949, the year of proclaiming the country as a sovereign state after the civil war, the state is ruled by the CPC (Communist Party of China). There are also 8 registered political parties in China, which are independent from CPC. Xi Jinping is the President of the country. The Vice President is Li Yuanchao.



The official language of China is Chinese. In Chinese religion and philosophy, there are three major streams such as Confucianism, Taoism, Buddhism. The culture of China is one of the oldest and most original in the world. Chinese culture had a great influence on the development of the first crops of many neighboring nations who inhabited the vast territory of the later of Mongolia, Tibet, Indochina, Korea and Japan.
